Re: Is Reality Real? The Simulation Argument
Reality is in the eye of the beholder.
Maybe we're simulated, maybe we're not. But does being simulated make you less real? Do you feel like you are not real?
To me, reality is the concept of an entity that is capable of interacting with an environment of equal or higher complexity to their expectations (simulated or not).
By that definition, to most people life is real and games are not. Though in recent years, with the expantion of more in depth and more multiplayer oriented games, they are becoming more and more real.
Maybe you could consider the multiplayer aspect cheating, as it introduces a real aspect into a fake environment, but d

Prologue
Things are never as they seem to be. I learned that the hard way. My name is Lang Ren. I'm raised in France, but my parents always said I originally came from somewhere in Asia, although my face doesn't give that away.
I was found all alone in the sewers of Paris. The first few years afterwards I lived in a orphanage. I was raised strictly. There was no television in the orphanage and computers weren't invented yet. Even though life was hard, it wasn't that bad. I had many friends. There were somewhere around twenty children and although we had some fights, we could get along with each other.
Every once in a while a new child came
Just another person who tries to develop it's writing skills.
Warning: I'm dyslectic, so maybe I won't read your stories right away. That doesn't mean I don't like your story, but that I just didn't have time (I have a message centre stuffed with 60 individual unread stories ^^;)
Hehe no problem, I like it how you address the issues in the world, life and oneself. Also it brought me thinking and give me insight in how others might see the world. So you deserve this favourite
